ABOUT US

Our grassroots initiative is lead by community members who support homeowners to make energy efficient and decarbonizing retrofits by: 

• providing education about why and how to retrofit,

• connecting homeowners as a network to enable access to bulk and efficiency discounts

• recruiting and screening quality trades people,

• providing guidance to access rebates, grants and low-interest financing, and 

• answering questions and providing support along the journey.

​This initiative was born out of a desire to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from our buildings to help us all meet the emissions targets laid out by the IPCC however for this to be effective, energy costs and affordability need to be considered first and foremost.
